Books, bookmarks, cookies, dessert, scented candles - everything that a bookworm loves was found at Clay Station, located in Banani, on October 20 and 21, 2017, at the event Down The Rabbit Hole. A celebration like this, for book and art lovers, was organised by Made With Love and The Curious Crate.
Sarah Shams, from Made With Love, says, “It was amazing to see that so many people came to the event despite the weather conditions. Watching them having a good time is very gratifying. It makes me want to host exhibitions more often.”
Other exhibitors who added to the celebration with their eccentric artifacts were Blooming Tales, Kraftz, Bookcessories, Pineapplo, Ink by Inaka, Lucy The Bakery, KIVA HAN and Absolem X Wicks.
Blooming Tales with their super cool rings and pendants, Kraftz with their notebooks and bookmarks, Pineapplo with their eco-friendly jute and cotton made accessories and handbags, Absolem X Wicks with their woodmarks and Lucy The Bakery with their delicious cookies, red velvet cheesecake, and other mouth-watering desserts made the exhibition a successful one. Art enthusiasts could also experience the art of clay at Clay Station.
In a world of chaos, such a refreshing celebration of art and books was indeed a breath of fresh air.
